Snug Life Guarantee and Warranty

Every Snug Life sofa is designed for everyday life. Whether it's movie nights, kids jumping on the cushions, afternoon naps or the occasional spilled coffee, your sofa is built to handle it.
We stand behind every sofa we make with straightforward guarantees that give you complete peace of mind.
10-Year Frame Guarantee
Your sofa starts with a solid foundation.
If the internal frame develops a manufacturing fault during the guarantee period, we'll repair or replace the affected part at no cost to you.
That's ten years of peace of mind.
2-Year Upholstery Guarantee
Your fabric, cushions and upholstery are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for two years.
This includes:
- Stitching failures (Faulty seams)
- Defects in upholstery workmanship
- Foam or cushion filling defects
- Faulty springs
- Faulty reclining or sofa bed mechanisms (where fitted)
What's Not Covered
Like all furniture, some changes happen naturally over time.
Our guarantee doesn't cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Accidental damage
- Stains, spills or burns
- Pet damage
- Cuts, tears or punctures
- Damage caused by misuse or incorrect assembly
- Colour fading from direct sunlight
- General softening of cushions through normal use
- Minor creases or comfort changes that naturally develop
- Damage caused by moving, transporting or storing the furniture incorrectly
These are all considered part of everyday living rather than manufacturing faults.
Every Sofa is Unique
Our sofas are individually manufactured and upholstered by skilled craftspeople.
Because of this, small variations are completely normal and aren't considered manufacturing faults.
These may include:
- Slight differences in fabric shade between production batches.
- Natural creasing as fabrics settle.
- Cushion softening during the first few weeks.
- Minor variations in stitching.
- Small dimensional tolerances (typically within ±3cm).
- The way cushions sit or relax after use.
These characteristics don't affect the quality, comfort or durability of your sofa.
Your Sofa Will Settle In
Like a new pair of shoes, your sofa becomes more comfortable over time.
During the first few weeks you may notice:
- Cushions becoming softer.
- Seat cushions developing gentle creases.
- Back cushions relaxing.
- Slight differences between cushions depending on how often they're used.
This is completely normal and isn't considered a fault.
Regular plumping and rotating cushions will help them keep their shape for longer.
Looking After Your Sofa
A little care goes a long way. With a few simple habits, your Snug Life sofa will stay comfortable and looking its best for years to come.
To help prolong the life of your sofa, we recommend that you:
- Use your sofa as intended and avoid sitting or standing on the arms, backrests or other unsupported areas.
- Rotate seating positions (if possible) where possible to encourage even wear.
- Regularly plump, rotate and reposition loose cushions to help maintain their shape and comfort.
- Smooth upholstery by hand occasionally to minimise the natural creasing that develops with everyday use.
- Vacuum your sofa regularly using a soft upholstery attachment to remove dust and debris.
- Clean spills promptly in accordance with our Care Guide and always blot rather than rub.
- Keep your sofa away from prolonged direct sunlight and direct heat sources, which can cause fabrics to fade or dry over time.
- Take extra care with light-coloured fabrics, as some clothing dyes, particularly denim, may transfer colour.
- Follow the care instructions supplied with your sofa before washing or cleaning any removable covers.
- Never use bleach, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners or unsuitable cleaning products.
- Always assemble your sofa in accordance with the instructions provided.
As your sofa is enjoyed over time, you may notice cushions softening, fabrics relaxing and gentle creasing developing. These are natural characteristics of upholstered furniture and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Failure to follow the recommended care instructions may affect your guarantee.
Fabric Characteristics
Every fabric has its own unique qualities and will naturally change with everyday use.
Soft woven fabrics may develop a more relaxed appearance over time, while velvets and brushed fabrics can show shading, pressure marks or changes in texture depending on the direction of the pile. These are natural characteristics of upholstery fabrics and are not considered manufacturing defects.
We work hard to ensure colour consistency across every collection. However, as fabrics are produced in batches, slight variations in shade can occur between different production runs. For this reason, if you order additional modules or furniture at a later date, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match with your original purchase.
These natural variations are part of the character of quality upholstered furniture and do not affect its performance, comfort or durability.
Domestic Use Only
Our guarantees apply to furniture used in normal residential homes.
They do not cover commercial, rental, office or hospitality use unless specifically agreed in writing before purchase.
Repairs & Replacements
If something isn't right, we'll always try to put it right.
Depending on the issue, we may:
- Send replacement parts
- Arrange a repair
- Replace the affected component
- Replace the entire product where appropriate
The solution will depend on the nature of the fault.
If an exact replacement is no longer available, we'll provide the closest equivalent.
Making a Claim
If you believe your product has developed a fault:
- Contact our Customer Service Team.
- Include your order number.
- Send photographs or videos of the issue.
- We'll review your claim and guide you through the next steps.
Please report any delivery damage within 48 hours of receiving your order to help us resolve it as quickly as possible.
Important Information
Our guarantee will not apply where:
- The furniture has been modified or repaired by someone other than Snug Life or an authorised repair partner.
- The furniture has been misused or used outside its intended purpose.
- Damage has been caused by flooding, fire, extreme weather or other events beyond our control.
- Proof of purchase cannot be provided.
Lifetime Parts Promise
We design our sofas to be repaired, not replaced.
Even after your guarantee expires, we'll do our best to keep replacement parts available wherever possible, helping you keep your Snug Life sofa in use for years to come.
Your Consumer Rights
These guarantees are provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights and do not affect them in any way.
